About Unbound

Unbound started with a pretty simple idea: you should be allowed to think freely.

Somewhere along the way, disagreeing became dangerous. Asking questions became suspicious. Everybody started picking sides, choosing boxes, and deciding who belonged where.

We’re not very good at boxes.

Unbound is for people who are curious. People who question things. People who change their minds when they learn something new. People who can disagree with someone and still sit down and have coffee with them.

We believe in freedom of thought, expression, speech and press—not because we’ll always like what someone has to say, but because freedom includes all voices.
